The Warrior Basin Treasure Hunters Association, based in the Birmingham, Alabama area, was founded in 1972.
PURPOSE: Generally, our purpose is to promote a fellowship among members, sharing a common interest in treasure hunting, relics, rocks, coins, battlegrounds, prospecting, etc., and to enjoy as a group the privileges and pleasure associated with the efforts and activities of the club. We encourage members to act responsibly in their "treasure hunting" activities and to the benefit of the hobby and the community. (See By-Laws for more)
MEMBERSHIP: Annual individual membership includes immediate family members as well. Members have special privileges, as well as responsibilities to the club and the hobby. (See more)
MEETINGS: Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday of each month. (See more)
OFFICERS: Club officers (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer) are elected to serve for 4-year terms. (See current officers)
ANNUAL EVENTS: The club currently sponsors two annual events, the Deep South Treasure Hunt, an open hunt held in the fall each year, and the Members Only Hunt, a beach hunt held in the spring for our members.
