HUNT RULES

1. All participants agree to abide by huntmaster decisions.
2. 35th Annual DSTH hunt badge MUST be worn to participate in any hunt. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. Digging rules
   
   • Small digging tools only (i.e. kinves, probes, blade type diggers). Absolutely NO hoes or picks.
   • Fill Your Holes!!! You will hear this one over and over. Smith Lake Park is gracious enough to let us hold the hunt on their fields. If we tear up the hunt fields and leave a lot of holes, the park may not let us return next year.
   • No help digging (i.e. only one person per detector) unless specifically allowed by huntmaster.
     
4. Headphones are required.
5. Hunt fields.
   
   • Do not enter any hunt fields until time of the hunt, even without a detector, as some targets may be visible.
   • When taking positions around a field at the start of a hunt, carry your detector coil up if you are crossing the field. In other words, try to remove even the appearance of cheating
